FAQ:
1. Are these tools free to use?
Yes, all of our tools are completely free.
2. Do I need an account to use Textplate?
No, Textplate works directly in your browser without requiring a login or any account setup.
3. Can I use these tools on any browser?
Our Chrome extensions are available on Google Chrome or any Chromium-based browsers (e.g., Microsoft Edge, Brave). Textplate can be accessed from Google Chrome or any other Chromium-based desktop browsers.
4. Where is my data stored for Chrome extensions?
For our Chrome extensions like One-Click-Copy and One-Click-Jot, your data is stored in Chrome’s local storage. If you’re signed into Chrome with your Google account, your data can sync across devices, allowing you to access your saved snippets and notes on any device where you’re logged in. For One Quick Calculator, your data is stored only in Chrome’s local storage (not sync across devices).
5. Where is my data stored for Textplate?
The text in the Textplate editor serves as a temporary text draft and is stored in your browser’s cache. It is not included in the Export feature, so if you clear your browser’s cache, the draft will be lost. For saved templates, the data is also temporarily stored in your browser’s cache, and no data is saved on our server. To avoid data loss, it is recommended to use the Export feature to export your templates as a JSON file before closing the app or browser. You can later import the JSON file if the cache is cleared or you want to transfer templates to another devices.
6. Are any of my data stored on your server?
No, none of your data is saved on our server. Everything is stored locally in your device’s browser or synced with your Google account for Chrome extensions.
